hey, i'm vedant

applied math & physics at uc berkeley (2021–2025), now shipping code for a living and writing prose because i can't help it. currently a software engineer at a stealth-stage ai startup, building a multi-agent platform that autonomously processes insurance claims — voice, browser, llm reasoning, all coordinated. forward-deployed at an enterprise client whose order pipeline was bleeding money.
i keep finding myself at very small companies right when they're deciding what to build. before this: edge-deployed sdk + on-device browser-agent work at runanywhere (yc w26); tool-calling react tutors at tegore-ai (yc x25); brain-computer interfaces at the mind company (eeg → motor imagery, sub-50ms on a raspberry pi).
this site is the unstructured version. the structured one is for recruiters who need facts before vibes.
#current status
- reading:"Gödel, Escher, Bach" — still on chapter 3, still unconvinced that i won't restart from the beginning
- listening to:lofi beats while writing code, brahms while writing prose, kendrick while running away from both
- building:insurance-claim agents by day; a multi-agent financial advisor in every spare evening; this site between trains
- arguing with:the part of me that thinks markets are just physics with worse boundary conditions

#say hi
i collect collaborators the way other people collect books — happily, and faster than i can keep up with. if you're working on something at the intersection of ai, math, finance, or just want someone to argue with at a coffee shop, write to me.
